Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to serve as a primary contact for customers and coordinate service requests. This role involves travel to Graybar branches and client sites across the nation, with deployments lasting several weeks to months as needed.

The position requires flexibility to travel, manage on-site inventory, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will support order entry, billing, and inventory control while maintaining safety and efficiency in diverse

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience required; 4+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Required counter sales skills/customer service skills and warehouse material handler skills.
• Ability to perform physical requirements to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials, up to 70 pounds.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts safely.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services; fill customer merchandise requirements; suggest selections that meet customer needs.
• Coordinate prompt handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance duties; evaluate inventory requirements and balance merchandise.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties; operate a light van to deliver customer orders; ensure timely delivery.
• Update knowledge of products through self-study and training classes; train new representatives.
