Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Representative Off-Site to serve as a key customer liaison, handling orders, pricing, and service requests. You will travel to client sites, deploy for weeks or months, manage inventory, and support deliveries with a focus on customer satisfaction.

This role requires experience in counter sales, strong customer service, and warehouse handling. You’ll work with various client locations nationwide and coordinate with branch teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience; 4+ preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Counter sales and customer service skills required; warehouse material handler experience.
• Physical ability to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and comply with safety PPE.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services; fill customer merchandise requirements and suggest selections.
• Coordinate prompt handling of customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance; evaluate inventory levels and balance merchandise.
• May perform Delivery Driver duties; operate a light van to deliver orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Update product knowledge via training and self-study; train new or less experienced representatives.
