Job summary

The BD Pyxis Field Service Engineer provides remote and on-site technical support for BD automated dispensing systems across the assigned region, including DoD and DHA facilities. This role ensures troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance while complying with regulatory standards and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates will reside within a 30-mile radius of the base location. A company vehicle is provided and up to 25% overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of combined hardware, software, and IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems.
• Respond to and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with full case ownership.
• Document service activities and time logs accurately.
• Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams for deployments.
