Job summary

The Field Service Engineer for BD Pyxis Dispensing Devices is responsible for field service support across a territory, including installations, maintenance, calibration, and remote troubleshooting. Travel to customer sites as needed; a company vehicle is provided.

Ideal candidates live within 30 miles of base, hold a valid driver’s license, and may travel up to 5% overnight. Immunizations are required to ensure access to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Healthcare Technology or related technical field, or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience.
• Must possess CompTIA A+ Certification and Customer Support Certification.
• Position requires 24x7 on-call availability and ability to lift 70 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, computer proficiency, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and immunization requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for BD Pyxis systems, remote troubleshooting and on-site service.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, calibrations, and training.
• Maintain documentation of service activities and secure company assets.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting for hardware and software; escalate when needed.
• Engage in ongoing product training and compliance procedures.
