Job summary
Honeywell International, Inc. in Midland, TX (field-based/remote) is seeking a Field Service Engineer I – Process Controls to support installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process control and instrumentation systems at customer sites.
The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with customers and engineers, and extensive travel to client locations as part of service assignments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service, instrumentation, electrical, automation, or related technical field.
- Basic knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems including pressure, temperature, flow, level, analytical instruments, and control valves.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, automation, or control system equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process control and instrumentation systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, control valves, transmitters, and related process control equipment.
- Perform loop checks, point-to-point verification, functional testing, calibration, and system diagnostics to ensure proper operation of control systems.
