Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer I – Process Controls based in Midland, TX. The role involves on-site and remote support to ensure safe, reliable operation of process automation systems, with significant travel to customer sites.

You will troubleshoot PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA, read schematics, and collaborate with engineers to address technical needs while maintaining strict safety standards in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field service, instrumentation, electrical, automation, or related technical field.
• Experience with process instrumentation and control systems (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, HMI, or SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for installation, startup, commissioning, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of process control systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop drawings, and control documentation.
• Document service activities and recommendations in reports.
