Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Inc. in the United States seeks a Trades Specialist for the Baltimore/DC region, a field-based role with remote flexibility. You will sell DEWALT, STANLEY, and other brands to end-user customers, build key account relationships and mentor teams.

The position requires 3+ years in construction sales, strong communication, and travel up to 50%. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; MS Office proficiency and Salesforce CRM are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Sales or Marketing experience in Construction Supplies.
• Experience selling to executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Sell DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTER-CABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage user contracts/programs.
• Mentor local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement marketing initiatives; use Salesforce.com as CRM and planning tool.
