Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Trades Specialist for our Commercial Construction field sales team in Birmingham, AL. You will drive top-line sales for DEWALT, STANLEY, and related brands, while building key end-user relationships and managing contracts.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years in construction sales, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel up to 50% is required, and you’ll work with a broad product portfolio in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; construction field experience may substitute
• 3+ years selling construction supplies; proven track record with executives
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets for DEWALT, STANLEY, and other brands
• Develop and maintain relationships with end-user partners and contracts
• Mentor local market team on End User development and purchasing processes
• Collaborate with Channel Marketing on initiatives and campaigns
• Maintain and utilize Salesforce.com for CRM and planning
