Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Miami, FL is seeking a Trades Specialist to join the Commercial Construction field sales team as a field-based employee. You will drive top-line sales for major brands, build relationships with end-user partners, and mentor local teams on end-user development and purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; construction field experience may substitute.
• 3+ years in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with client exposure to high-level executives.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Achieve top-line sales targets by selling DEWALT, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to end-user customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with end-user partners and manage contracts and programs.
• Teach and mentor local market teams on End User development and purchasing processes.
• Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives.
• Maintain and use Salesforce.com as a CRM and planning tool.
