Quincaillerie Richelieu Ltée/Richelieu Hardware Ltd is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local business in Birmingham, AL and nearby markets. You will manage relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers as well as woodworkers, conducting consultative sales both in person and remotely.

The role requires self-direction, CRM proficiency, and reliable transportation for field visits 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales within building materials or construction is preferred.
• Must be self-motivated, able to manage time and responsibilities independently.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must have reliable personal transportation and be willing to travel in the field 3–4 days per week.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when handling product samples or materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities toward cabinet and furniture manufacturers and woodworkers in the territory.
• Engage in structured consultative sales discussions in person and virtually to advise customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships within Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas; cover Montgomery and Southern Alabama as needed.
• Utilize CRM to track calls, plan visits, and follow up on customer requests; use MS Office for reporting.
