Job summary

Quincaillerie Richelieu Ltée/Richelieu Hardware Ltd is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our local business region. The role involves managing relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, as well as woodworkers, through in-person and virtual sales discussions.

Candidates should have experience in building materials or construction sales, strong self-direction, CRM proficiency, and the ability to travel regularly within the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, preferably outside sales within building materials or construction.
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve successful sales growth.
• Knowledge or experience in building materials, cabinetry, closets, millwork, etc. (preferred).
• Strong time management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sales activities toward cabinet/furniture manufacturers and woodworkers in the territory.
• Engage in consultative sales discussions in person and virtually, advising customers as a business partner.
• Build and maintain relationships to grow local business and achieve sales targets.
• Travel within the territory regularly to visit customers (three to four days per week).
