Job summary

TruTeam, a leader in energy-efficient insulation and building materials, is seeking a driven sales professional in Livermore, CA. You will identify prospective customers, generate and follow up on leads, conduct daily sales calls, and present proposals to win new business while managing accounts through project completion.

This safety-sensitive role requires at least 3 years of building products sales, a valid driver's license, and a flexible schedule with local travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, and keep track of competitors’ products and pricing.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage the customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
