Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive revenue by selling insulation and building materials to residential and light commercial customers. You will identify new accounts, generate leads, and convert opportunities through proposals, while building trusted relationships and delivering solutions that meet customer needs.

The role requires 3+ years in building products sales, a valid driver's license, and a local travel footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials based on needs.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers and inspect job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
