Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a sales-focused professional to identify prospective customers, conduct daily calls, and manage accounts from initial sale to project completion. You will provide product knowledge, tailor material recommendations to client needs, and strive to meet monthly targets in a local travel role.

The position requires understanding of the building products market, safety awareness, and the ability to work flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers, recommending materials and services based on customers’ needs and interests.
• Understand the market you serve, monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate company safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
