Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an Outside Sales Executive to expand Genius and other payment solutions with small and mid-sized businesses across restaurant, retail, and service sectors. You will work with branch offices, demo live, and close high-value merchant accounts.

The role emphasizes field activity, building relationships with bankers, and delivering value-based presentations in person or virtually. Travel up to 75% is expected; a background in B2B fintech sales is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of B2B outside sales experience.
• Proven success in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services sales.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to sell face to face and virtually.
• High energy, self-motivated, results driven with a team-oriented mindset.
• Professional presence with the ability to connect with business owners and earn trust quickly.
• Comfortable spending 75% of time in the field with a valid driver's license.
• Must live within 2 hours of the job posting location.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for Genius and other Global Payments solutions to SMBs across restaurant, retail, and service industries.
• Co-sell alongside branches, run live demos, and close high-value merchant accounts.
• Own and manage a consistent pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking.
• Deliver consultative, value-based presentations in-person and virtually to show how Genius streamlines payments and boosts loyalty.
• Collaborate with your District Manager to identify opportunities, set appointments, and close sales in a short cycle.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Atlas and Salesforce, including call notes and follow-ups.
