Job summary

Pave America HQ LLC is seeking a remote, field-based Sales Trainer to support PavementSoft adoption across our national operating companies. You will travel up to 70% to train sales teams and estimators in offices and on job sites, ensuring accurate estimates and alignment with standard procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in paving or pavement maintenance with sales, estimating, project management, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of paving production, crew sizes, equipment, daily output, and material yields.
• Proven ability to learn software quickly and teach it to diverse teams.
• Track record in training, coaching, or onboarding sales or estimating teams.
• Experience building, following, and reinforcing SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to operating companies across the country to deliver hands‑on, in‑person training for salespeople and estimators.
• Train sales teams and estimators to use PavementSoft through all stages: lead management, estimating, bidding, and handoff to operations.
• Teach and reinforce standard operating procedures and review adherence during site visits.
• Coach estimators on building accurate estimates using standard rates, crew/equipment assumptions, quantities, and cost standards.
• Help sales teams understand how production rates influence bid pricing and job margins.
• Onboard acquired companies and transition their teams to PavementSoft and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain training materials, guides, checklists, videos, and assessments.
