Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager in Salisbury, MD to grow our customer base and expand the branch territory. You will develop sales plans, build relationships, quote pricing, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver value.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of outside B2B sales, a bachelor's degree, and strong consultative selling skills. Local travel applies; base pay includes commission and a monthly auto allowance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Proven success with solution-selling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to service existing accounts and pursue new ones.
• Cultivate customer relationships with a consultative approach.
• Link customer priorities to Airgas value proposition.
• Prepare sales proposals: pricing, credit terms, delivery dates.
• Stay current with industry pricing, products, and new releases.
• Coordinate with internal resources to achieve growth and maintain communication.
• Submit daily call reports and territory analyses as required.
• Review AR balances to minimize working capital risk.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
