Job summary

Airgas is hiring a District Sales Manager for Arkansas to drive outside sales growth, coach Account Managers, and expand the regional footprint. You will lead strategic initiatives, set territories and quotas, and ensure AMs pursue new business while growing existing accounts.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in B2B sales, strong leadership, and proficiency with Salesforce; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret P&L, margins and use data visualization to guide decisions.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to analyze financial and sales data effectively.
• Strong partnership-building and selling skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall sales performance and pipeline health to achieve targets.
• Establish territories and quotas while analyzing market trends and forecasts.
• Spend substantial time coaching Account Managers on sales activities.
• Train and direct AMs in core sales methodologies to grow revenue.
• Conduct monthly reviews to measure performance and plan growth.
• Grow a portfolio of regional accounts with high retention and satisfaction.
• Execute plans to meet pricing targets and optimize margins.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to align regional strategy and training.
• Identify expansion opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
