Job summary

Convergint is looking for a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will work with management to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedules.

You’ll supervise project staff and subcontractors, coordinate on-site activities, review plans, and maintain quality in line with codes and company standards. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising field teams on building automation or life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and manage on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for successful and timely completion within budget and scope.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services building automation, fire/life-safety, or security systems.
• Supervises field staff and subcontractors, mentoring and directing work.
• Ensures work quality and adherence to codes and company standards.
