Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, startup, and training on fire, security and building automation projects. You will ensure work is completed within contract scope, budget and schedule while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will mentor field staff, coordinate subcontractors, and manage risks and quality to deliver safe, compliant, and reliable systems. Travel to job sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects within scope and budget
• Self-starter with initiative and accountability
• Read blueprints and electrical/mechanical drawings
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Oversees site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors in the field.
• Coordinates subcontractors and verifies on-site quality standards.
• Assists in coordinating projects and recommending scope changes to improve satisfaction.
• Identifies project risks and supports cost and schedule control.
• Ensures installation quality per codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services building automation, security and life-safety systems; provides customer training.
• Performs other duties as required.
