Job summary

WM is seeking a front-line development leader to onboard, coach, and mentor drivers and helpers. You will spend most days in the field working directly with frontline teams to drive safety, performance, and career progression.

You will establish strong relationships, provide hands-on feedback, and ensure regulatory documentation is maintained. A driver’s license and a strong safety focus are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: completion of WM Operations Manager Trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage driver and helper performance.
• Spend the majority of time in the field with frontline staff to ensure support.
• Provide tools, instruction, and feedback for daily duties.
• Meet daily with new frontline employees to aid onboarding.
• Lead safety practices and investigate injuries/incidents as needed.
• Document records per regulatory standards and review route paperwork daily.
• Visit customer sites to resolve safety issues and explore service alternatives.
