Job summary

WM is seeking an Operations Manager in North Carolina to lead onboarding, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of drivers and helpers. This role spends the majority of time in the field with frontline teams and starts in the early morning hours, ensuring strong daily operations and safety.

You will build positive relationships with frontline staff, drive training programs, and supervise a team of 15-20 drivers, collaborating with site leadership to meet service goals and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (accredited) or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Legal to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old; valid driver's license.
• Experience supervising frontline employees and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of drivers and helpers.
• Spend the majority of the day in the field with frontline employees.
• Ensure safety practices and regulatory recordkeeping are maintained.
• Document and maintain records required by regulatory agencies such as the DOT.
• Visit customer sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues.
