Job summary

WM is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee to lead onboarding, development, and performance management for drivers and helpers. The role requires spending substantial time in the field with frontline staff to ensure consistent communication and support for onboarding.

You will supervise coaching conversations, review safety procedures, and drive continuous improvement in daily operations. A valid driver's license and legal eligibility to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or high school diploma with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: WM Operations Manager Trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of drivers and helpers.
• Spend the majority of the day in the field with frontline employees.
• Provide tools, instruction, and feedback to support onboarding.
• Lead safety practices and conduct root cause investigations for incidents.
• Document regulatory records and review route operation documentation daily.
