Job summary

GreenDrop is seeking an Associate Manager to lead field operations, coach team members, and ensure exceptional donor service. This role oversees multiple sites, coordinates with the Area Manager on hiring and onboarding, and maintains supplies and safety standards across locations.

The candidate will drive teamwork, integrity, and operational excellence, supporting the company’s mission to convert donations into mission funding.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the Associate Manager in Training role, new team members, as well as existing team members on all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for actively engaging in the field with direct oversight to 20 to 30 sites on a regular basis.
• Responsible for all direct report functionality of an Area Manager including hiring, coaching, counseling, firing duties, tracking time, and other people management needs.
• Support Area Manager by reviewing applications, conducting interviews, selection of talent, and onboarding activities.
• Manage supplies, assets, and all maintenance requests at each site.
• Ensures timely requests of all pickups are communicated.
• Independently and collaboratively interacts with donors while exercising good judgment and a customer-focused mindset.
• Builds a culture of customer service by providing donors with friendly, helpful, and efficient service.
• Assists donors and truck drivers with donated merchandise and invites donors to return.
• Work efficiently and call for additional assistance as needed.
• Follows safety standards to protect team members and donors.
• Takes responsibility for reporting hazards or injuries to management.
• Wear tablet holder while recording donor information in company iPad.
• Continuously organize donations in the stock room throughout the shift.
• Complete and send daily and weekly supply needs to the Area Manager.
• Other duties assigned by manager.
