Job summary

GreenDrop is seeking an Associate Manager who will lead and coach teams across multiple donation sites, ensuring high-quality donor service and adherence to company standards. The role involves field oversight and collaboration with Area Managers to optimize operations.

This position requires hands-on leadership, travel within the geographic territory, and a commitment to safety and integrity. GreenDrop provides robust onboarding and internal training to drive career growth.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory customer service role leading 10+ team members.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the Associate Manager and team members on policies and procedures.
• Oversee direct field oversight of 20–30 sites regularly.
• Manage hiring, coaching, counseling, firing, time tracking, and staff development for Area Manager reports.
• Assist Area Manager with interviewing, onboarding, and talent onboarding activities.
• Manage supplies, assets, and maintenance requests at each site.
• Ensure timely communication of pickup requests.
• Interact with donors with good judgment and a customer-focused mindset.
• Maintain a positive, professional appearance and culture in interactions with donors and drivers.
• Support a safe work environment by following safety standards and reporting hazards.
