National Federation of Independent Business seeks an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership by engaging small business owners in the field. You will work in the community, meeting owners face-to-face, and drive membership growth through a proven sales process.

This hunter/closer role requires resilience, fast learning, and the ability to articulate NFIB benefits while navigating objections. A successful track record in sales or leadership is valued, with uncapped commission

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB presentation: master and deliver a concise, five-minute sales pitch.
• The close: enroll new members with an assumptive one-call close and process payments on the spot.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB protections in Washington, DC and state capitals.
