National Federation of Independent Business is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate to grow NFIB membership in the local market. This field-based role involves meeting small business owners face-to-face, delivering a concise sales presentation, and closing memberships with on-the-spot payments.

You will be part of a high-performance team that combines entrepreneurial drive with a strong advocacy mission across Washington, DC and state capitals.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial spirit with ownership mindset or leadership experience.
• Persistent professional who can cold-call and build rapport with small business owners.
• Willingness to learn and follow a proven sales model.
• Ability to advocate for NFIB and educate owners on rights and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Prospect: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s 5-minute sales presentation confidently.
• Close enrollment and process payments on the spot.
• Educate owners on how NFIB protects their rights in DC and state capitals.
