Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled technicians to support our national client base. This field role goes beyond a desk job, with OS installs, cabling, and telecom tasks across various sites.

You will travel within your territory and work independently on diverse environments including retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate facilities. Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT/Telecom experience, plus certifications (A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience).

Qualifications

• 1 year IT/Telecom experience minimum and one of: A+ or Network+ or 5+ years field experience.
• PC and printer troubleshooting experience a strong plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables).
• Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients.
• Be on call and respond to service requests within territory.
