Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking hands-on IT/Telecom technicians to support our growing national client base. This role goes beyond helpdesk tasks, involving OS installs, hardware diagnostics, structured cabling, and telecom work across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year IT/Telecom experience, and either A+/Network+ or 5+ years of field experience. On-site, field-based work with travel within a broad territory is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of IT or Telecom experience.
• One of A+ or Network+ certifications, or 5+ years of verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of technical tasks including OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Structured cabling (drilling, running, dressing cables) and telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate environments.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and be on call within your territory.
