Job summary

AMG Tech Support is seeking skilled field technicians to support a national client base. The role goes beyond desk work, involving OS installs, hardware checks, cabling, and telecom tasks across various facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year IT/telecom experience, relevant certifications, and are comfortable being on-call within a defined territory. On-site travel and travel pay apply, with opportunities to advance within a growing team.

Qualifications

• PC and printer troubleshooting experience.
• At least 1 year of IT or Telecom experience, and one of: A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or 5+ years verifiable field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup.
• Execute structured cabling, including drilling, running, and dressing cables.
• Handle telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions).
• Work independently across diverse environments: retail, medical, restaurant, corporate.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and respond to service requests within territory.
