Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Field Technician to provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support across client environments. You will travel to sites in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island, performing troubleshooting, deployments, and basic infrastructure changes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in managed services or IT support, strong communication, and solid documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a managed services, field support, or IT support role.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and basic Azure/Entra ID environments.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, wireless) and documentation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support for client environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, printer, and basic server issues.
• Travel to client sites to perform deployment, installation, and project tasks.
• Document work performed and findings in IT Glue; communicate progress to teams and clients.
