Job summary

The ProActive Technology Group is seeking a Field Technician to support client sites across Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn with occasional travel to Greenvale, NY. Based in Midtown Manhattan, you will split time between in-person field support and remote troubleshooting, driving successful IT infrastructure projects.

You will handle workstation, device, and network issues, perform deployments, and document findings while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a managed services, field support, or IT support role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and basic Azure environments.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and wireless.
• Ability to travel to client sites and document work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote Level 1/2 support for client environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, device, and network issues.
• Perform installations, deployments, and hardware replacements at client sites.
• Assist with office IT moves and onboarding/offboarding tasks.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when needed.
• Document findings and work performed in the ticketing system.
