Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists is seeking a Level 2 Field Services Technician to join our Network Operations Center in Hauppauge, NY. You will provisioning, deploying, and supporting client environments, both remotely and onsite, while collaborating with engineering on migrations and projects.

The role requires 2–4 years in help desk or related fields, strong Windows expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in Help Desk, Technical Support, or User Support.
• Experience with PC, server hardware, and Windows OS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 install, config, admin, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting SaaS-based apps and Microsoft Office suites.
• Experience administering Active Directory users, groups, and GPOs.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and onsite support for desktops, laptops, users, and peripherals.
• Create, update, and document support tickets; escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, including NICs, switches, and cabling.
• Assist with system migrations, data transfers, and project tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotation, after-hours support as required.
