Job summary

AbbVie seeks an experienced field-based sales professional to execute brand strategy and drive performance across assigned territories. You will build strong customer relationships, manage calls and plans, and ensure alignment with AbbVie's code of conduct and regulations.

Responsibilities include delivering KPI targets, communicating market insights, and differentiating AbbVie's value to health providers. This role requires a proactive, results-driven mindset and credentialing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/health/science industry with 3+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge; strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
• Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approaches.
• Proven track record of success in selling with solid presentation skills; operates effectively in a matrix environment.
• English language proficiency verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed objectives.
• Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
• Effectively handle objections and gain calls to action to close on every sales call.
• Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships for win-win agreements.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to align strategy.
• Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with health providers and maintain disease state experts.
