Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy or related field; relevant industry experience acceptable.
• Five+ years in pharma/health/science with 3+ years in relevant roles preferred; high school diploma/GED accepted.
• Proven leadership and presentation skills; strong business acumen.
• Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approaches; works well in a matrix environment.
• Preferred: success in sales within therapeutic areas and pharma industry experience such as physician/account-based selling, training, or marketing.
• Demonstrates deep scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is viewed as an expert by stakeholders.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication; HCIR credentialing requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets while meeting marketing objectives.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements with AbbVie customers.
• Develop and execute call plans to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field teams to align brand strategy and respond to environmental changes.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and identify disease state experts to maximize brand performance.
