Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based sales professional to execute brand strategy and drive performance across assigned territory. You will build strong customer relationships, manage accounts, and place the patient at the center of AbbVie’s efforts while complying with all laws and AbbVie policies.

You will develop call plans, track KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize market access and brand strategy, leveraging disease-state knowledge and clinical insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field or equivalent industry experience required
• High school diploma/GED required; significant pharma/health industry experience may substitute for degree
• Proven leadership, presentation skills and business acumen
• Ability to adapt selling approaches to customer style and operate in a matrix environment
• HCIR credentialing requirements may apply for facilities and organizations in the territory
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and meet brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives
• Develop pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales results
• Build trusted relationships with customers and achieve win-win agreements
• Create and implement call plans to optimize coverage and frequency with key accounts
• Share market intelligence with in-field and brand teams to align strategy
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition and develop disease state experts and advocates
