Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Field-based Account Manager to cover Montgomery or Birmingham, AL. You will lead regional sales initiatives, build key relationships with dealers, and drive profitability across multiple brands.

The role requires a 4-year degree (preferred), 3 years of industrial product sales experience, and strong IT and MS Office skills. Travel in-state and around Alabama is expected, with a focus on growth and strategic account management.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding and knowledge of IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel both in and out of state desired; focus in Alabama and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Responsible for region’s sales growth, profitability, listings, and share gain.
• Develop and execute strategic plan using marketing programs, field resources, product training, events and outside sales activities.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel; regularly call on all dealers in assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across all SBDK brands and units.
• Provide support to dealers on product knowledge and merchandising.
• Utilize Salesforce and BW to drive efficiencies.
• Manage budgets to drive profitability.
