Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an Account Manager to lead the Montgomery/Birmingham area sales region. You will manage dealer relationships, drive market share, and execute strategic plans using marketing programs and field resources.

You’ll develop top accounts, travel in-state as needed, and utilize Salesforce and BW to track performance. A 4-year degree and 3 years in industrial sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding of IT business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel, focusing in Alabama and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, listings, and share gain.
• Develop and execute strategic plans leveraging marketing programs and field resources.
• Build relationships with top accounts; regular dealer calls in assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across brands and units; support dealers with product knowledge and events.
