Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for the Alabama region, based near Montgomery or Birmingham.

You will lead all regional sales activities, grow profitability, and build top account relationships while leveraging field resources, training, events, and brand programs. You will use Salesforce and BW to drive efficiency, manage marketing budgets, and support dealers with product knowledge and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding of IT business systems BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Drive region’s sales growth, profitability, listings and share gain.
• Develop and execute strategic plans using marketing programs, field resources and product training.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel; drive sell-through across brands.
• Provide product knowledge support to dealers and assist with events and merchandising.
• Utilize Salesforce and Business Warehouse to drive efficiencies; manage budgets including T&E and demo tools.
