Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Alabama is seeking an Account Manager to lead regional sales from Montgomery or Birmingham. You will manage all elements of the region, develop plans, and establish relationships with top accounts and key dealers.

This field-based role requires 3 years of industrial product sales experience, familiarity with BW and Salesforce, and travel within and outside the state. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive growth and profitability across SBDK brands.

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• 4-year college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead all elements of the region and drive sales growth.
• Develop and execute strategic plans using marketing programs, field resources, product training and events.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel.
• Regularly call on all dealers in the assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across Stanley Black & Decker brands.
• Provide dealer support on product knowledge, end-user work, event marketing and merchandising.
• Use Salesforce and BW to drive efficiencies.
• Manage budgets (T&E, funds, demo tools) to drive profitability.
