Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Alabama, field-based near Montgomery or Birmingham. You will lead regional sales, build top accounts, and drive growth across SBDK brands.

Expect remote work with travel to sites and dealers, leveraging Salesforce and BW for planning and reporting. You will manage budgets, develop strategic plans, and support dealers with product knowledge and events.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in industrial products or related complex commercial product sales.
• Understanding and knowledge of IT Business systems (BW, Salesforce.com, Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel both in and out of state desired.
• This person will focus in Alabama and some surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all elements of the region.
• Responsible for region’s sales growth, profitability, listings, and share gain.
• Develop and execute strategic plan using marketing programs, field resources, training, events, and outside sales.
• Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel.
• Regularly call on all dealers in assigned area.
• Drive sell-through across all brands and units.
• Utilize Salesforce and BW to drive efficiencies.
• Manage budgets (T&E, funds, demo tools) to drive profitability.
