Job summary

SpyCloud is seeking a senior Manager, Federal Sales Engineering to lead our public sector pre-sales in a true player-coach role. This remote position requires DC metro residency or relocation to visit federal clients as needed.

You will mentor a federal SE team, own strategic demos and PoCs, and collaborate with civilian, DoD, IC accounts to shape the federal roadmap with product and engineering feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity pre-sales with federal/public sector accounts.
• 4+ years managing sales engineering teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Based in the DC metro area and willing to travel within the region.
• Experience with OSINT tools and federal procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a player-coach, splitting time between leading the federal SE team and owning pre-sales for strategic accounts.
• Lead and mentor a team of federal sales engineers, setting standards for demos and proofs of concept.
• Partner with federal sales leadership to ensure coverage across civilian, defense, and intelligence accounts.
• Translate data from SpyCloud breach and identity data into investigations and detections for customer missions.
• Drive channel and partner engagement with public sector resellers and system integrators.
• Guide PoCs and pilots from scoping to outcomes, delivering customer-ready results.
