Job summary

Recorded Future, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering for US Public Sector to lead a distributed team of Sales Engineers across Federal, DoD, and Intelligence Community accounts. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on customer engagements.

You’ll establish a scalable operating model, drive constructive discovery and demonstrations, and partner with Product, Services, and Channel teams to win complex technical opportunities in government markets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading a Sales Engineering, PreSales, or technical selling organization within cybersecurity.
• Meaningful experience supporting Public Sector customers (Federal/DoD/ IC) is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of threat intelligence and security operations, including SIEM, SOAR, APIs and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of Sales Engineers supporting Federal, DoD, IC, Civilian, State, and Local Government customers.
• Establish a consistent operating model across team coverage, technical sales processes, performance expectations, and leadership visibility.
• Assess team capabilities and capacity, addressing development, hiring, performance, and career-growth needs.
• Partner with Public Sector sales leaders to clarify accountability and create a proactive working model.
• Standardize technical discovery, demonstrations, Proof of Value engagements, technical validation, and post-sale handoffs.
• Lead from the front on strategic opportunities and help the team secure the technical win.
• Partner with Product, Professional Services, Intelligence Services, and Channel to improve customer outcomes and inform Public Sector strategy.
