Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding customer service and help transition patients between our clinical and retail teams in Chico stores. The role includes a base wage with commission on personal sales and a monthly bonus opportunity.

You will greet patients, promote available products and services, schedule appointments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while supporting lab operations and ensuring timely eyewear delivery.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong communication with diverse groups of people.
• Associates degree or advanced certification; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Schedule flexibility to meet business needs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with product promotions to enhance the customer experience.
• Coordinate with clinical and retail teams to ensure smooth patient flow in-store.
• Schedule appointments and assist management with patient inquiries and order statuses.
• Maintain patient records securely in HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Assist in lab operations and ensure eyeglasses are delivered on time.
• Support brand standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
