Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding customer service and smooth clinical-to-retail transitions in our stores. You will support both clinical and retail teams, ensuring a positive patient experience and accurate records.

You will assist with pretesting, digital refraction, contact lens care, and sales promotions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and scheduling responsibilities. Prior customer service in eyewear is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience in healthcare or eyewear preferred.
• Associates degree or higher certification in a related field.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and basic computer skills.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with promotions of products and services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and follow-up.
• Support clinical staff with pretesting, refraction, and contact lens care as needed.
• Coordinate between the retail and clinical teams to optimize patient experience.
