Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service and help streamline the flow between clinical services and the retail team in our Bakersfield area stores.

You will support PEG clinicians, perform pre-testing, contact lens care, and verify patient information while adhering to HIPAA; benefits include medical, vision, life and more, plus commission on personal sales and a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience is required.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong communication skills with diverse groups.
• Associate degree or advanced certification is required or in progress.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office 365 and clinic software.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient service and support clinical operations.
• Assist management with patient inquiries, orders and scheduling.
• Maintain patient records confidentially and HIPAA compliant.
• Support clinical care, including pre-testing and contact lens care.
• Ensure accurate patient information and timely delivery of eyeglasses.
