Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is hiring a Doctor Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and smoothly transition patients from clinical services to retail support.

You will assist with pre-testing, refraction support, and lens care while ensuring accurate patient records and timely order fulfillment. Strong communication and adaptability in a team setting are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a team environment.
• Effective communication with diverse groups of people.
• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school.
• Flexible scheduling and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite 365; optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and foster a strong partnership between retail and clinical teams.
• Greet patients, identify needs and facilitate sales.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; resolve patient inquiries and manage expectations.
• Maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance; ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses.
• Assist with lens edging and basic lab tasks to speed up service delivery.
• Support clinical and operational metrics to achieve store goals.
