Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living seeks an Associate Executive Director for a memory care community in Chapel Hill, NC. The role emphasizes day-to-day operations, occupancy management, and financial performance under an Executive Director.

You will lead staff, ensure high-quality resident care, and foster relationships with residents, families, and the broader community. Applicants should have memory care leadership experience and be available on-call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Gerontology, Business, or related field.
• Minimum two to four years proven management experience in retirement housing, hospitality or health care.
• State license as a nursing home administrator and/or Assisted Living License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational execution in support of an Executive Director.
• Manage occupancy and monthly financial performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff and the community.
• Lead and motivate staff; ensure training programs are effectively executed.
• Develop annual operating and capital budgets and monitor budget variances.
• Hire, train, and evaluate personnel in line with policies.
• Ensure facilities meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Represent the facility to governmental agencies and community groups.
