Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Cherry Hill Township, NJ is seeking a Director of Memory Care to oversee the day-to-day operations of Memory Care, ensuring adherence to policies and state regulations while advancing the Embrace memory care pillars. You will lead program development, staff training, and family communications to deliver exceptional resident care.

The role requires 3–5+ years in memory care, a relevant degree, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Formal education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in memory care or dementia-related roles.
• Certifications: Activities Director, CTRS, CDP or related as required.
• Language: Fluent English to communicate with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess/evaluate potential Memory Care residents for level of care and coordinate assessments.
• Monitor documentation to meet regulatory timelines and update care plans.
• Coordinate family/resident care conferences with ED and Health & Wellness.
• Lead Memory Care team interviews, orientation, and ongoing training.
• Coach staff and manage Memory Care employees in partnership with leaders.
• Promote Embrace philosophy in all interactions and oversee Memory Care operations.
• Organize monthly programming calendar and supplies; plan and evaluate resident programs.
• Lead 3–5 self-led programs daily; monitor programs for quality and resident satisfaction.
• Adhere to department budget and stay current on Alzheimer’s/dementia topics.
