Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Director for our Cramer Mountian community in North Carolina. You will lead the memory care unit, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with the Activities Director to provide meaningful daily programs for residents with dementia.

Key requirements include at least one year of dementia-care management experience, strong prioritization and delegation skills, and the ability to manage a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• One (1) year management in dementia care required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to delegate assignments.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, develops and leads the memory care unit operation in compliance with laws.
• Partners with Activities Director to provide engaging activities and involvement from Care Managers.
• Designs and facilitates memory care programs with Life Skills and dementia-appropriate activities; liaises with Alzheimer’s organizations.
• Ensures monthly family support group meetings are planned and facilitated; supervises CNAs in memory care.
